SassyMyProm: 2017 Highlights

It’s 2018 already! Time flies so fast especially when you’re enjoying it. There’s none to complain about but a lot to be thankful for. This is the first kind of personal post that I will be writing for 2018 so let’s spend some time to look back on the highlights happened in 2017 with my favorite blush off-shoulder dress from SassyMyProm.

My 2017 was extremely amazing! I lived another year of ups and downs but overall, it was just overwhelming. I was surprised with the things I couldn’t believe will happen in my life.
First, I have to include that I’m currently doing the job that I love. I work every day whenever I want, wherever I want. It’s been two years since I shifted from being a corporate slave to working on the projects that I like with my own flexible time and place as long as there’s internet. It’s not always smooth-sailing but I manage to keep my brain up and running. (Haha!)
Second, I worked and collaborated with amazing brands this 2017. I did that in the last few years too but 2017 gave me more opportunities to showcase my creativity and little photography skills. I’m not saying that I am now a professional when it comes to those things but I’ll always try to do my best because it’s one of my passions. I’m so thankful for the opportunities and looking forward to more! This post is also a collaboration post and here I am proudly smiling and wearing a blushing princess dress. The design is so dreamy and comfortable. When I receive fashion items like this, my heart is always pounding for excitement and my mind is thinking more about the creative shots that I should do. I always fail, but 2018 is going to be different.

Third, travel keeps me going and I was able to go to Palawan, Boracay (for the fifth time), and Vietnam last year. Sometimes my work gives me opportunities to travel somewhere and I always grab it whenever I can. The experiences are priceless. I wish I can do more travels this 2018 and I’m working on it! Save. (That’s the first step to do so!) Oh, by the way, I’m also wearing the earrings and necklace from and a lip tint from Tony Moly.

Fourth, I’ve met different people from different countries and cities. It was just so amazing to talk about different cultures, a different point of views and laugh together for the same reasons. I have also visited my relatives in the province. I try to go there as many times as I can. With my 27 years of existence, I knew how to appreciate people who are there for me no matter how bad the situation for me is, no matter how I throw some adult tantrums to calm my soul and share a piece of cheek exercises and smile on their lips. You can’t turn back time, you can’t create same exact memories the same exact time in the past so I also learned on how to value time. Love. Spread love and choose to be happy. We’re living in this world temporarily so live the most out of it and never regret anything. Something magical and special happened last April 2017 and if you’re a frequent reader of this blog, you know it.

Fifth, I realized in the last few months of 2017 that I need to let go of some things that I don’t need anymore. It may be things or something that adds burden to my life but the important thing is I have learned to walk away with it. Health is important as well. I started to think more about taking care of myself first.
This may be the shortest yearly highlights that I wrote but I have summed it all! Cheers to more happiness, healthy life and love this 2018.
